In One Tank...

ABCELTM/ANCELTM
1 Chemical + 1 Tank + 1 Step = 0 Pollution

The process is extremely efficient, economical, and simple in design and operation. The mechanics employed are relatively basic. The system requires one tank in which agitation, demulsification, adsorption, and settling occur in a 15 minute cycle. It is equipped with a high-speed, specially designed agitator and treats in a 4-minute reaction phase and a 1-3 minute settling phase in the same tank, and pumps to a filtering/dewatering device. The drain valves, pumps, and controls are also fully automated, as is the filtering/dewatering device. In the case of large flows the system is adaptable to modular design with additional mixing tanks, each functioning as a reaction and settling tank. Because of the speed of reaction, continuous flows can be treated rendering extensive systems with separate units for each phase of treatment unnecessary. Modifications to existing systems are usually possible affording additional savings on capital equipment. For the treatment of radioactive wastewater, all contact parts are specially coated.

The ABCELTM Wastewater Treatment Chemicals & Process

The ABCELTM technology is a unique one-step process, together with non-toxic, dry powder, chemical formulations, that functions on the principles of demulsification, flocculation, adsorption, precipitation, and settling in the same tank.

ABCELTM treats multiple contaminants simultaneously, in a 4-minute reaction phase and a 1-3 settling phase (in the same tank). The wide range of contaminants that can be in combination includes heavy metals, such as mercury, lead, zinc, chromium, etc.,phosphates, and free or emulsified oils. The sludge is easily dewatered, and after filtration is approximately 50% solids requiring no drying beds or clarifiers. In most cases the sludge is stable and meets TCLP requirements without fixation. In some cases the treated water can be reused allowing a closed-loop operation and therefore offers additional savings.

The ANCELTM Wastewater Treatment Process

The ANCELTM technology is a one-step process, which, together with patented and patent pending proprietary dry, non-toxic chemical formulations, treats low-level radioactive wastewater as well as "mixed wastewater" simultaneously. ANCELTM is effective for the removal of contaminants from mining wastewater and runoff, as well as cooling water from nuclear power plants and the fuel preparation industry.
